Jen Yanek is a life long horse enthusiast who spent a large portion of her child hood researching horses, playing with toy horses, and mucking out stalls in exchange for riding lessons.

When Jen was finally in a position to own a horse, it was game on. The passion she had growing up was refueled and she dove head first into everything horse. As a professional engineer of 20 years, Jen found that her engineering mind gave a unique prospective into the horse, rider, and saddle interaction.

Additionally, she felt there was an opportunity to improve education in the field. While many people have a fitter and understand the importance of a properly fit saddle for the horse and rider, there are just as many that don’t. Out of this desire to educate people and help horses, Clear Shot Equine Services, was created.

As a life-long learner (Nerd), Jen has studied under several different schools to gain a broad prospective and understanding of the differing Saddle Fitting Theories.

The following are a list of courses she’s completed, but don’t include the extensive number of books she’s read, webinars, summits, and lectures in which she participates.
